P2P is hot again!

Why am I not surprised? The Internet communication is very robust, but the centralized nature of Domain Name System authorities allows for, well, centralized control. The abrupt removal of the Wikileaks.Org is certainly not the first example of domains being removed by central authorities, but it seems to have renewed the interest for P2P names, as shown here:

Part of me would like to say, hey, folks, why don't you just use PNRP? I designed it 10 years ago with scenarios like that in mind. But on the other hand, I am quite happy to see the idea of P2P names actually pushed forward.
